About VLINK NAIL

We are a corporate owned, new established, and fast-growing Nail Spa Salon located in Houston and surrounding areas. Our goal is to expand the business operation by opening at least 100 stores nationwide in the next 5 years. We have strong beliefs and attribute much of our success to our incredible staff because taking good care of the talented people who, in turn, take care of our amazing guests.








    - Manage the nail salon, provide customer service, and work with to direct Vlinkgroup managers; be responsible for allotting and supervising reception area as well as hiring and training receptionist if necessary
    - Have the authority to terminate subordinates in case of violation according to company rules and regulations under the Texas labor law
    - Be responsible for employee payrolls on the first and 16th of each month
    - Supervise and direct a team of 1-10 members, including receptionists, helpers, and janitors to perform daily responsibilities and to comply with Vlinknail’s protocols and policies about health safety and security procedures
    - Supervise and provide proper training for receptionists and janitors
    - Be responsible for all nail salon maintenance and repairs
    - Be responsible for all technology training, including but not limited to POS system, membership program, and security system in the nail salon
    - Be responsible for collaborating with salon’s vendors related to electricity, water, internet, cable, gas, insurance, taxes, uniforms, etc.
    - Develop salon business plans, monitor KPI, and conduct weekly performance report to upper managers
    - Collaborate with marketing department to increase sales
    - Be fully responsible for salon property, daily incomes, and any loss (if incurred)
    - Plan and order nail supplies and tools
    - Follow proper closing procedures, such as turning off lights, shutting down any working displays, activating burglar alarm system, etc.
    - Collaborate efficiently with nail technician supervisor and upper managers to achieve the objectives
    - Manage other projects provided by executives

    Requirements

    • A responsipble, wellness-oriented team player with a strong work ethic

    • Very detail-oriented with flawless polish skills for manicure & pedicure services
    • Interest in guest wellness // perform thorough intakes, address needs, concerns & issues, set up an ongoing game plans, and record detailed notes
    • Ability to work weekends
    • Ability to perform relaxing, firm massage with every service
    • Provide uncompromised individualized attention to every guest throughout the entire process, with every visit
    • Ability to create loyalty & maintains high retention
    • Must be able to bend, squat, lift, twist, and lift up to 25lbs
    • Anticipate, identify and ensure guest needs are being met in the best possible way
    Qualifications

    • 1 year of work experience
    • Licensed manicurist or cosmologist

    A receptionist is the face of VLINKNAIL. You are the first face that clients see when they come in for appointments and the last face they see on the way out. Along with representing the salon’s name, a salon receptionist’s duties include and are not limited to:
    • Answering phones, booking appointments for clients and calling clients to confirm appointments
    • Welcoming walk-ins, answering questions about services and scheduling appointments based on availability
    • Informing clients about new services and discounts
    • Greeting clients with a friendly smile and walking them to the proper station
    • Serving clients refreshments and beverages
    • Performing transactions for client services (cash and credit cards) and issuing receipts
    • Updating client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
    • Keeping the salon front clean, professional looking and inviting
    • Selling appropriate retail to customers
    • Ordering business cards, brochures and stationery as needed

    Qualifications
    To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers:
    • Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role
    • Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems
    • Familiarity with processing transactions
    • Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude
    • Solid organization and record-keeping skills
    • An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances
